Eric Hald, Ph.D.

Biography

After establishing a new Department of Biomedical Engineering at Shantou University the last seven years, Dr. Hald returns to Ann Arbor as a lecturer with an emphasis on design courses, project-based experiential courses, and management of student project teams. His goal is to serve as a collaborative resource for students and faculty. Dr. Hald brings cumulative research experiences in clinical device development, vascular mechanics, and tissue engineering, as well as teaching experience in developing comprehensive undergraduate biomedical engineering curriculum and sitting on senior design review panels during his prior time at Michigan.
