Program with Cell & Molecular Biology
You can earn a B.S. in Cell and Molecular Biology (CMB) from the College of Literature, Science & Arts and an M.S.E. in Biomedical Engineering from the College of Engineering through a 5-year joint degree program.
You’ll typically spend your first three years meeting bachelor’s degree requirements and spend the following two years fulfilling bachelor’s and master’s degree requirements.

- CoE Minors: The College of Engineering offers several minors and co-curricular programs to complement our undergraduate engineering degrees.
- Multidisciplinary Design Program: Global Health Design Specialization, which teaches students how to design solutions for today’s global health challenges.
- Specialized Study Program in Global Health Design – The Specialized Study Program in Global Health Design (PGHD) is an academic program that allows undergraduate students to focus their elective courses and upper-level design coursework on the topic of global health to earn the following notation on their transcript: “Specialized Study in Global Health Design.”
