The two-day event will be geared toward delivering high quality presentations, poster presentations, workshop-wide activities for engagement and networking, as well as focused sessions on building bridges between clinical and engineering trainees. This structure is designed to catalyze cross-disciplinary dialogue across engineering, clinical cardiology, and translational research.

The Engineering in Cardiovascular Medicine workshop is a two day event aiming to bring together PIs and trainees to share the latest developments in engineering and translational research in the topics of:

Facilities & Accessibility
Location and Parking
At the Palmer Drive parking structure, pay-in-lane stations are installed at two lanes to process exit transactions. Stations accept debit/credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express) payments. QR-coded validation tickets issued by department hosts provide discounted or free parking. The cost is $2.40 per hour. Exit assistance is available by pressing the pay station’s HELP (intercom) button.

Directions and Accessibility
Palmer Commons offers flexible conference and meeting spaces. The conference areas are on the 4th, 5th, and 6th floors—one flight above the main Palmer Commons entrance and the Windows Lounge room.
On the 4th floor, Forum Hall and the Great Lakes Room can be used for many different functions and perfect for receptions and events. There is also an atrium perfect for receptions on the 5th floor. On the 6th floor, there are five boardrooms and an atrium for meetings and receptions.
Palmer Commons is compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and all event spaces are ADA accessible.
