Cameron Jones is a trusted partner to healthcare innovators, known for delivering high-quality, commercially viable solutions rooted in deep clinical insight and technical expertise. As Co-founder and CEO of Avasys, a medical device R&D firm, he leads a team that specializes in helping companies translate early-stage concepts into fully developed, submission-ready products.

With nearly 20 years of experience spanning device design, usability, quality systems, and regulatory strategy, he brings a comprehensive perspective to medical technology development. He has led engineering and quality functions for breakthrough innovations in vascular access, drug delivery, and artificial organ support systems. His work has helped startups and global organizations alike bring meaningful technologies to market, faster and with less risk.

While serving as Vice President of Engineering and Quality at X-COR Therapeutics, he oversaw development of an advanced extracorporeal device for patients with respiratory failure, building both the engineering systems and QMS from the ground up. Earlier roles at Pfizer and Meridian Medical Technologies included leadership in human factors engineering and project management for auto-injector and prefilled syringe products.

A published researcher, patent holder, and grant recipient, he combines academic rigor with business acumen. He holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Interventional Radiology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
