The 2024 BME Symposium with Glenn V. Edmonson Lecture is happening on Wednesday, May 8, in the NCRC Building 18 Dining Hall. This event is intended to build the BME community across campus and honor the legacy of the first graduate chair of the U-M Biomedical Engineering program. The day’s activities will provide a forum for BME faculty and students campus-wide, along with our collaborators, to present current research progress and discuss future research opportunities at the interface of engineering and medicine.
Our featured speaker will be Bruce J. Tromberg, Ph.D., Director of the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), where he oversees a portfolio of research programs focused on developing, translating, and commercializing engineering, physical science, and computational technologies in biology and medicine.
Please register to attend the event by April 8 to reserve your place. If you are a student or postdoc who would like to present a poster, we must receive your form, also by April 8.
