She is an appointed member of the American Glaucoma Society (AGS) Committee on Patient Preferences & Outcomes and is working closely with the FDA to assess patients’ priorities to inform clinical trial design.

Publications

Her work on a novel glaucoma drainage device was recently published in Bioengineering & Translational Medicine, and her ongoing study of patient-centered outcomes in glaucoma treatment has been published in Ophthalmology Glaucoma and the American Journal of Ophthalmology.

Biography

With training in both biomedical engineering and outcomes research from the Johns Hopkins Schools of Engineering and Public Health, Dr. Bicket studies the development and use of new surgical techniques in glaucoma treatment, as well as the treatment preferences and surgical experiences of glaucoma patients.
