SUGS Curriculum

Under the guidance of BME faculty advisors, Sequential Undergraduate/Graduate Studies (SUGS) students work toward a course of study in one of five concentrations.

MSE Concentrations

Students will choose one of five concentrations:

• Biomechanics and Biotransport (MS)
• Bioelectrics and Neural Engineering (MS)
• Biomaterials and Regenerative Medicine (MS)
• Biomedical Imaging and Ultrasonics (MS)
• Biotechnology and Systems Biology (MS)

Forms

All undergraduate and graduate student forms are now available on the BME INTRANET in the Student Resources > Forms section. You will need to log in using your M+Google (Level 1) account. If you are unable to access these files please contact bme-web@umich.edu for assistance.

Students interested in pursuing SUGS should make an appointment with Tara McQueen (tarac@umich.edu), SUGS Academic Advisor, to discuss this program and ensure that it fits your career goals and plans. A student may be referred to a faculty concentration advisor for further assistance.
