Jonathan Fay, Clinical Associate Professor of Practice, Biomedical Engineering, and Associate Chair for Translational Research, has received the Monroe-Brown Foundation Service Excellence Award for the academic year 2024-25. The Monroe-Brown Foundation, a Kalamazoo-based philanthropy, established the Monroe-Brown Foundation Education Excellence Award in 2002. The Foundation is committed to supporting quality higher education in the State of Michigan. It has generously endowed gifts across the U-M campus. Established in 1986, the Foundation is a memorial to Albertine Monroe Brown and Robert Judson Brown.
