Congratulations to BME staff members Michele Santillan, Communications Manager, and Ali Von Au Douglas, Project Senior Manager, on receiving BME’s 2024 Outstanding Core Staff Awards. Faculty and staff nominated staff members who made significant contributions or possess qualities and attributes, such as:
- promoting a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment for faculty, staff and/or students
- exhibiting strong work qualities such as dependability, patience, and commitment
- solving challenging problems by demonstrating creativity and innovation (often leading to time-saving and cost-saving results)
- facilitating the success of others, either through supervision, teamwork or individual assistance
- demonstrating a willingness to take on new or additional tasks; pitched in when needed
- fostering collaboration and cooperation among colleagues
