Jiahe Li to Receive 2024 Cellular and Molecular Bioengineering Young Innovator Award

The Young Innovators award is issued by Cellular and Molecular Bioengineering (CMBE), a journal focused on “research that studies how cellular behavior arises from molecular-level interactions to tackle the challenge of improving human health.”

Congratulations to Jiahe Li, Assistant Professor, Biomedical Engineering, on receiving the 2024 Cellular and Molecular Bioengineering Young Innovator Award among 12 awardees. He will receive the honor at the Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) annual meeting in Baltimore in October. The Young Innovators award is issued by Cellular and Molecular Bioengineering (CMBE), a journal focused on “research that studies how cellular behavior arises from molecular-level interactions to tackle the challenge of improving human health.” CMBE is a BMES Special Interest Group with a common goal of understanding how physical forces control biological processes to improve the practice of medicine. Claudia Loebel, U-M Assistant Professor, Material Science Engineering and Associate Faculty, Biomedical Engineering, has also been named a CMBE Young Innovator.
