“My goal is to help my students become the best versions of themselves,” said Dr. Lisa Pruitt during the annual Alan J. Hunt Memorial Lecture on Friday, November 3. More than 100 faculty, staff, students and family members attended the event, featuring Lisa Pruitt, the Lawrence Talbot Professor of Engineering, and Professor of Mechanical and Bioengineering at UC Berkeley.
During the lecture, BME’s Andrew Putnam, the Robert C. Leland, Jr. and Donna D. Leland Professor, Biomedical Engineering and Cardiovascular Medicine, shared his remembrances of Professor Hunt and presented Dr. Pruitt with a medallion to commemorate her lecture. Thank you to Dr. Pruitt for sharing her insights with the U-M BME community during this session and at Friday morning’s Conversation on Faculty Wellbeing.
The Alan J. Hunt Memorial Lecture is named in honor of the late Professor Hunt, who was a member of the U-M BME faculty until his passing in 2012.
