Dr. Panagis has a BS in Bioelectrical Engineering from Marquette University, and MS and PhD degrees in Biomedical Engineering from U-M. She has served as a postdoctoral research fellow and an engineering teaching consultant, in addition to being a Lecturer I. 

Dr. Panagis strives to make engineering courses approachable and welcoming. She uses active learning strategies in the classroom and encourages students to develop problem solving skills and an engineering mindset.
