The Min Lab develop nano/biomaterials-based platform technologies to study or address diverse physiological disorders in humans. We integrate core concepts in chemical engineering, biochemistry and clinical science to arrive at innovative engineering solutions to significant health problems, including cancer and infectious disease. Our ultimate goal is clinical translation of the new technology to overcome the limits of current standard methods. Current research areas include i) molecular engineering of nanoagents for targeted therapy, ii) nanofabrication of implantable biomaterials for controlled drug delivery, and iii) development of molecular/cellular biosensing technologies for clinical diagnosis.
