My research interests are in the field of cardiac mechanobiology, seeking to understand how the mechanical environment in the heart influences cell behavior and cardiac function throughout pediatric development and disease. My lab will use gene edited human stem-cell derived in vitro systems, and computational models to study disease and potential therapeutics to improve precision medicine.
