This course integrates the fundamentals of descriptive statistics, discrete and random distributions, hypothesis testing, regression, ANOVA and post-hoc tests with computation, data analysis and visualization to address real world biomedical problems. Engaged learning class sessions focus on applying statistical and computational methods to real data sets from biomedical engineering.
Prerequisites: Advisory Prerequisite: Concurrent or prior enrollment in MATH 116, 156, or 186 is recommended. Prerequisite: ENGR 101 or 151. Minimum grade of a “C-” for enforced prerequisites.
