It is our pleasure to announce the 22nd Annual Cellular Biotechnology Training Grant Symposium held on Tuesday, April 26th, from 1:00 – 5:30 pm at Palmer Commons. Please register for the symposium by clicking HERE.
Our keynote speaker will be Dr. Erik J. Sontheimer, Professor in the RNA Therapeutics Institute and Program for Molecular Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, presenting “CRISPR Biology, Mechanism and Application”. Additionally, Dr. Anna Schwendeman from the College of Pharmacy and CBTP trainees Taylor Johnson (Medicinal Chemistry) and Matt Jenior (Microbiology) will be presenting their work.
All students and postdocs are invited to submit abstracts for the poster session by April 11th. Abstracts should follow the attached template and can be emailed to Grace (firstname.lastname@example.org). Please include CBTP Abstract in your email subject.
CBTP Symposium Committee
The Cellular Biotechnology Training Program (CBTP) is partially funded by the NIH (T32GM008353) and administered by Dr. Andy Putnam in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. The training program provides financial support and scientific training for graduate students from the College of Engineering, College of Pharmacy, Medical School, and Rackham Graduate School.
